1. Informational use only

Slow Soup provides recipes, estimated nutrition, and descriptions of traditional beliefs. It is not medical, dietary, nutritional, or health advice, and is not a substitute for a qualified professional. Traditional Chinese Medicine descriptions (e.g. “warming,” “clears heat”) reflect cultural beliefs and are not statements of proven effect. Always consult a doctor, pharmacist, or dietitian about your individual circumstances.

2. Allergens, ingredients & safety

Recipes may include common allergens (such as peanuts, tree nuts, apricot kernels, fish, and shellfish) and herbs that are not suitable for everyone. Some ingredients — including apricot kernels and tonic herbs such as angelica, astragalus, and ginseng — must be prepared and cooked properly and used in moderation. You are responsible for checking ingredients, preparing food safely, and confirming suitability if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, taking medication, managing a health condition, or cooking for children. Stop and seek advice if you experience any adverse reaction.

3. Nutrition estimates

Nutritional values shown are estimates only and may vary with ingredients, brands, quantities, and preparation. Do not rely on them for medical or dietary decisions.

4. No warranty

The app and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy. We do not warrant that the content is complete, current, or error-free.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AW Labs and the developer will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss or harm arising from your use of the app, the recipes, or reliance on any information provided. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

6. Purchases

The optional one-time “Unlock All Recipes” purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store and is subject to Apple's terms. Purchases are generally non-refundable except as required by law or Apple's policies.

7. Intellectual property

The app, its text, design, and images are owned by AW Labs and may not be copied or redistributed without permission, except as permitted by law.

8. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
