Pip's Visitors Privacy Policy
What stays on your device
Your game — the board, Pip's nest, the friends you have met and your settings — is stored locally using Apple's on-device storage. It is never sent to us, and it is removed if you delete the app. No account or sign-in is required.
Notifications
The app can show a notification when Pip's acorn pouch has refilled. These are scheduled on your device; nothing is sent to a server to deliver them. You can turn them off in the app's Settings or in iOS Settings.
Analytics
Pip's Visitors uses TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics service, to understand in aggregate whether the app is working — for example, how many people start a game or meet their first friend. It receives only a small, fixed list of anonymous product events: "game started", "friend met", "wish granted", "heart earned", "place opened", "paywall shown", "purchase completed" and "purchase restored". An event may say which in-game friend or place it was about.
It does not receive your name, email, or anything you type. It does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA), and Pip's Visitors does not track you across other apps or websites.
Purchases
Pip Plus is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store, under Apple's Privacy Policy. We never see your payment details — the app only checks with Apple whether a purchase has been made.
Children
Pip's Visitors is suitable for families. It does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children under 13. There are no accounts, no messaging, no user-generated content shared with others, and no third-party advertising.
Deleting your data
You can erase everything the app has stored at any time from Settings → Delete All Data inside the app, which starts the game over. Deleting the app also removes its data.
Your rights
Because we do not collect or store your personal data, there is nothing for us to access, correct, or delete on our servers. If you have any question about your privacy, contact us using the details below.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
