What stays on your computer
Geodancer saves your progress, high scores, settings, control bindings and avatar choice in the game's own save folder on your computer. Songs you import are copied into that folder so the game can play them. None of this is uploaded to us or to anyone else. Uninstalling the game and deleting its save folder removes it.
Information we do not collect
- No name, email address or other contact details.
- No gameplay analytics, telemetry or crash reports sent to us.
- No third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
- No music files, file names or listening data from songs you import.
- No tracking across other games, apps or websites.
Steam
If you get Geodancer through Steam, your purchase, account, achievements, cloud saves and any Steam features are handled by Valve under the Steam Privacy Policy. We only receive the aggregated sales and usage reports Valve gives every developer, which do not identify you.
Pre-release and test builds
Test builds handed out before release may check a small file on awlabs.dev when they start, to find out whether the build has expired. That request contains no personal data or gameplay information. Like any web request, it reaches our web host with your IP address, which the host may keep in short-lived server logs. Release versions do not make this check.
Children
Geodancer does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children under 13.
Your rights
Because we do not collect or store your personal data, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete on our servers. If you have questions about your privacy, contact us using the details below.
Changes
If Geodancer ever adds online features, such as online leaderboards, this policy will be updated first and posted on this page with a new date.
