EggTally Terms of Use

EggTally is a record-keeping app for backyard poultry. By downloading or using it you agree to these terms and to Apple’s standard licence for App Store apps.

1. Licence

AW Labs grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use EggTally on Apple devices you own or control, under these terms and Apple’s Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement. If the two conflict, these terms apply to the extent the law allows.

2. EggTally Pro

EggTally is free to download. EggTally Pro is an optional one-time in-app purchase, sold through the App Store and processed by Apple under Apple’s terms. It is not a subscription and does not renew. Pro can be restored on other devices signed in with the same Apple ID (Settings → Restore purchase), and it is shared through Family Sharing. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies; we can’t issue them directly.

We may add features to the app over time. We won’t take away Pro features you have bought, except where required by law or by a change in Apple’s platform.

3. Your records

Your records are stored on your device and, if you use iCloud, in your own iCloud account. We have no copy and can’t recover them if the app is deleted, iCloud data is removed, or the device is lost or reset. The backup in Settings makes a file you can keep; please use it.

4. Not professional advice

The health log, care reminders and hatch tracker are tools for keeping notes and remembering tasks. They are not veterinary advice; ask a vet about a sick bird. Cost per dozen, sales and other figures are calculated from what you enter and are not financial or tax advice.

5. Acceptable use

Don’t reverse-engineer, copy, resell or redistribute the app, and don’t use it to break the law. We may stop supporting EggTally on devices or iOS versions that can no longer run it well.

6. Intellectual property

The app, its design, artwork and text are owned by AW Labs or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. The records and photos you add are yours.

7. No warranty

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not promise that it will be error-free or always available.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AW Labs will not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including lost records. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the app and its purchases in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited under your local law.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time; the new version will be posted here with a new date. Continuing to use the app after changes are posted means you accept them.
